Welcome Sales Managers! This is a place where Sales Managers can gather and support one another by sharing ideas and solutions. I’m calling it “Open Source Sales Management”. No high-priced consultants, seminars, or training; Just real advice from real Sales Managers. Sales Managers’ Forum will be a resource to all Sales Managers seeking help. SMF is a “community of practice” consisting of Sales Managers from a wide range of industries with a wide range of experiences.
There are a lot of us out there managing armies of salespeople that are driving our economy and providing solutions for corporations and individuals. We were successful individual contributors with some natural leadership abilities that jumped at an opportunity to move up the ladder. Like our team members, we can always improve. And we too need guidance and development. But we often are not provided much training ourselves.
